Our mission is to take the gospel of Jesus Christ outside the four walls of the church and into the community through the publications of education, testimonies, songs, and scriptures via television commercials, magazines, billboards and newspapers. The common thread between our ministry and the church is to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community by doing the work that others don’t want to do. Baptizing the homeless, as well as the elderly in convalescent centers. Building and remodeling homes for those who are in dire straits through the resources that are around each of us as followers in Christ to get the work done without the financial burden on the family in need. Our ultimate goal is to change the spiritual climate by our relentlessness to do the work of Christ in our community and prepare and embrace Polk County for revival.

Mark Five
Jim Adkins is the son of Herb and Vivian Adkins, who were missionaries for 27 years in the West Indies.
After leaving Jamaica at age 18, Jim rebelled against his Godly upbringing, leading (as it always does) to a life of chaos and destruction.
Jesus never gave up. After long, hard years away from God and family, Jim returned – to his right mind (Mark 5:1-20), to his family, and most importantly to JESUS.
Jim is married to Lucy, his partner, best friend and counselor. Lucy brings valuable insight and compassion to the Mark Five Ministry. He is father to Lea and Nick, of whom he is very proud, and grandfather to four remarkable young people. Jim is author of the book
Monsters and Butterflies: Making Sense of Change.
Jim speaks and teaches in a variety of venues and is always well received. He currently directs Mark Five on its multiple fronts: transitional housing, personal mentoring training, and job placement efforts. Jim is also juggling several new writing projects.
